This Privacy Policy describes what data Baikal VPN collects, how it is used and protected. By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.
Key point: Baikal VPN is a no-logs service. We do not collect, store, or process your VPN traffic, visited sites, or content of transmitted data.
1. Data we DO NOT collect
When using a VPN connection, we do NOT collect or store:
- Browsing history and visited resources
- Content of traffic, messages, downloaded or uploaded files
- IP addresses assigned during a VPN connection
- Your original IP address
- VPN session times and durations
- DNS requests
2. Data we collect
We process minimal information:
Account data
- Device UUID — randomly generated. No personal data registration required.
Payment data
- Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider. We do not store card data.
3. Purposes of data use
- Providing and maintaining the Services
- Subscription and payment processing
- Technical support
- Fraud prevention
- Compliance with applicable law
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.
4. Sharing data with third parties
We do not sell or transfer your personal data, except:
- Payment providers — for processing payments.
- Legal requirements — pursuant to lawful requests in the UAE jurisdiction.
5. Data security
- VPN servers use full-disk encryption and run in RAM-only mode.
- Servers are located in secure data centers in the Netherlands and Germany.
- Infrastructure access is restricted and controlled.
6. Data retention
- Device UUID — kept during subscription and 12 months after termination.
- Payment information — kept by the payment provider per its policy.
- VPN session data — does not exist.
7. Your rights
- Request information about stored data.
- Request deletion of your account.
- Withdraw consent for data processing.
